As a new season begins, the light changes and things take on a different tone. Things become more diffused.
Earth tones stand out and become more prevalent. Soothing.
Brass and orange take center stage. Oh how I long to gather around a table with friends. This was a shop vignette from last year at this time that I replicated for the tv show that shot in LA. Both seem like ages ago.
The light dances. It is a happy dance. A change of season is always a new beginning. A chance to look back and reflect. A chance to look ahead for fresh starts.
But what I like most about a new season is to be in the moment. To look all around. To savor. To be here now.
